Who Are We?


Who are we to stand in this place that has been inhibited by many species of animals and destroy it?
Who are we to let our hurt feelings let us not forgive each other and let the feud go?
Who are we to sit in front of the television using energy that could go to hospitals for life support?

     Better yet... Why are we.

If you could change one thing in the entire world, would it be selfish, or selfless?
What about if you could change one thing in the universe? Laws of gravity, pushing the sun farther away on hot days... everything has a consequence.

Why do we blame others for things that we cannot control or do?

     Only the most serious of questions lift the deceiving veil from most people's faces.

What would you do if you had one year left to live? A month? A week?

Rob a bank and stow the money for your family? Get caught and not have enough time for jail?

     Ask yourself these questions every night before you pass into gentle slumber. And if you have an answer for every one of them, you're not looking closely enough to see that you are not perfect and that you have done a few of these things.
